The link for course syllabus isn't showing up.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the required size for the
ReplyDeleteMatte Board?
can you do black and white photos?
ReplyDeleteIn a previous comment it was stated that the board she be 24" by 24". However, after combining fifteen 3x5 pictures, the board appears to be way to big.
ReplyDeleteif we dont have any money cause were in college and all can we just print them out on are printer at home?
ReplyDeleteas long as the photos fit on there without looking cramped, does the size of the board matter?
ReplyDeleteIs it ok if we use 4x6 photos
ReplyDeleteI don't belive the size of the matte board matters. I do believe we can use 4 x 6 photos even though it states 3 x 5 in the assignment. In addition, the pictures can overlap each other in order to make the whole composition, which is why the size of the matte board may vary for each person.
ReplyDeleteFinally, I believe the first half of the course syllabus is the "Bounding Space". If that is incorrect, will you enlighten me?
Thanks
I remember him telling us that the size doesnt matter.
ReplyDeleteWalgreens does 3.5x5 pictures if you ask them
Marti and I really appreciate you all commenting back and forth to each other! That's great! And Elizabeth is right about everything but the syllabus issue. The syllabus is still coming. Sorry about the delay there.
ReplyDeleteYour photos need to be approximately 3 by 5 (4 by 6 works fine). They can be black and white.
You can be poor but that will not be any excuse for things not being good. Good is good. Craft is caring. Craft is the filter of intention. You could pay a professional photographer print your images for thousands of dollars and still do this badly. Make it well.
Is your board working as an armature, a frame, or as figure in your work? You build a relationship to the board in the work.
