200' of white or black kite string (no neons)
Flat white paint to cover the interior of the box with two coats
12 #10 countersink wood screws 2.5" long
2.6 cubic feet of dry fine granule sand (w/ no added binders or debris)
96- 2d (penny) nails (1" long)
A basic wooden ruler

i notice that the 3/8" plywood is critical. i suppose that means that something close (11'32", for example) is not good enough. is that correct?

ReplyDeleteI was wondering where the template will be at for putting in our nails? I would like to know about sand too if anybody has found any.
ReplyDeletewhen our wood was being cut, were we supposed to get the holes from the template put in or are we supposed to grab the template and do it ourselves?

so the box is due tuesday right? and is it just the box itself that is due or the box with the string and the sand included that is due?

I have one question...if we make these models in the sand and then you decided to give us a template for the nails...anything that we make in the sand is going to be messed up from hamering them into the side of the box. I would have left this on the assignment posting but there wasnt a comment link.
